Touristic is operated by Telyx Solutions, Portugal, VAT PT318894696. We are responsible for the personal information we receive through our contact and subscription enquiries. For privacy questions, email geral@touristic.pt.

Information we handle

You can browse our guides without creating an account. The contact form and newsletter fields open an email draft in your own email app. They do not submit information to a Touristic website database. If you send the email, we receive the name, email address and message you choose to share.

Your theme and cookie choices are stored locally on your device. Planner choices may appear in the destination page URL; avoid including sensitive information in URLs you share. Our hosting provider may process technical request information, such as an IP address, to deliver and secure the site. External font services and external links have their own privacy policies.

Why we use information

We use enquiry information to reply and manage correspondence, relying on our legitimate interest in responding to you. Where your enquiry relates to a service, processing may also be necessary for steps you request before a contract. Marketing emails require your consent; you can withdraw it at any time. Legal obligations may require us to retain certain records.

Retention and recipients

We keep correspondence only as long as needed for the enquiry and relevant legal obligations. Email and hosting providers may process information to deliver their services. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, applicable GDPR transfer safeguards are required. We do not sell your personal information.

Your GDPR rights

Subject to the applicable conditions, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact geral@touristic.pt; we normally respond within one month, subject to GDPR extensions. You can complain to Portugal’s CNPD or your local data protection authority.

Cookies and local preferences

Essential local storage remembers your theme and cookie preference. Optional analytics and advertising are not currently enabled on this EU site. Optional technologies requiring consent must not run until you agree. You can review your choice here or clear browser storage.

Google AdSense advertising

If Google AdSense advertising is enabled in the future, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, measure and personalise ads based on visits to this and other websites. Where required in the EEA, this requires your prior consent through a compliant consent message; a saved preference alone is not sufficient to activate ads.
